Back Bridges and Opossums
I am sharing this work-out upon request from my cousin. When thinking of her, this is the first work-out that came mind. Being the same age, we grew up participating in gymnastics/cheer leading together, and both believe we are never too old to resist the urge for random front walkovers, snippets of a cheer or jumping on the trampoline. If not participating in an organized class or team, we would spend days scripting dance routines; that is, when we were not trying to track, lure in and kill the opossum in the backyard to save her kittens!

This is a work-out you can do at home! It is…
20, 30, 40 reps/seconds of:
V-Ups
Sit Ups
Superman Hold
Front Plank
Side Plank, per side
Back Bridge Hold
While I am at it, I would like to add that my hopes for this blog are to reach and help more people trying to improve their well-being. As a personal fitness trainer, I would constantly wonder if I helped my clients enough during the hour they paid me to train them. Despite the reassurance they gave me saying my training was effective, I still felt I could have done more. And if my training is effective, I can only train so many people per day. So I hope through this blog, I can help more people reach their goals.
On a less serious note, check out the new ice cream recipe I discovered!

Ice Cream with Red Wine
1 cup of red wine (I prefer Winkling Owl Shiraz, Cabernet or Merlot from Aldi’s…only $2.89!)
1 cup Plain Soymilk
1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
½ tsp salt
Stevia and Cinnamon to taste
Stir/Shake then place in ice cream maker, or freeze then half thaw.
